Turner Slicho, DO joins us to share a condensed version of his two-day OMM course. The Sunday program will focus on a treatment approach developed by Dr. A. T. Still, the father of osteopathy. Dr. Still developed the technique – “Exaggeration of the Lesion” – in the 1880’s and used it as the foundation on which the osteopathic profession was built. Students will learn to pair this type of technique with one of three activating forces: articulatory, bounce against the barrier, and indirect.

Students will work with table trainers so that they know the feel of the techniques, which provides results the very next day in their clinical practice. Students will be shown techniques for the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, ribs, pelvis and extremities. This will be a great overview on the lost techniques of Dr. A. T. Still.
